Linda Pennington, 83, was born Nov 29, 1942, in Longview, TX, to James Alden Menasco and Hazel Norma Evens Menasco. She passed away March 26, 2026.

Linda retired in 2017 while working at Tigue Contractors, LLC of Glenwood, AR, where she was a bookkeeper. She also worked at H&R Block in Glenwood for several years, preparing taxes and bookkeeping. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church.

Linda is survived by two sons: Don Pennington of Florida and Jon Pennington from Glenwood, Arkansas; grandchildren: Michael Pennington, John Scola, Cara Pennington Gable, Lakyn Zellner, Haylee Vines, Christopher Pennington, Patrick Pennington, and Jade Owens; two step-grandchildren: Chase and Gibson Lybrand; one uncle: Jerry Don Evens of Texas; 15 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many generations of cousins whom she adored.

Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father; three sisters: Bonnie Coe Jarrell, Ginny Menasco Webb, and Sylvia Menasco; one brother: David L Menasco, and one son: Glen S Pennington.

Linda was dearly loved and had many roles: daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, and friend.

As our mom, she was the heart of our family — our strength — who kept us all together no matter what life brought. She fought fiercely for the people she loved, always putting her family first with a strength that never wavered.

She endured more loss than most, yet she was an overcomer in every sense of the word. Through it all, she carried a smile and a quick wit that could lift your spirit and bring comfort when it was needed most.

Her resilience, her love and her spirit are the legacy she leaves behind to her loved ones. She will be deeply missed and FOREVER in our hearts.
