New banners are hanging from downtown Glenwood lightpoles celebrating the graduation of students from the three Glenwood-area high schools.

Different students are featured on each pole and they’re grouped by schools.

The banners on E. Broadway start at 1st Street with the schools sequenced in alphabetical order with Caddo Academy, Centerpoint High School, then Kirby High School.

The Glenwood Downtown Network sold the banners as a fundraiser.

Board President Kayla Hartsfield said 26 parents paid for senior keepsake banners for their kids, raising about $650 for the network.

Photos of the seniors are featured on one side of each light pole, while the other side promotes the Downtown Glenwood Farmers Market.
